Shikshapatri Jayanthi
‘Shikshapatri ‘ the holy book of the Swaminarayan sampradaya had its 187th jayanthi (anniversary)on 28th of January 2012 .
Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul also celebrated the jayanthi by holding a pooja at the morning time and also during the assembly .
In the morning the pooja was done by His Holyness Krishnacharandasji Swamiji , Rajeshpillai sir and top students from the junior Master Sumukh S Adiga and top student from the senior section Master Divya kaushal Ghag .After the Pooja the Aarthi of the Shikshapatri was done.
During the evening assembly all Hostelites performed Pooja by offering grains of Rice to the recital of the Janmangal.
