Hindola Quiz - Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

At Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Bangalore, a special event known as the Hindola Quiz was recently organized. This quiz was part of the Gurukul’s efforts to engage students in a deeper understanding and remembrance of the darshan of God, focusing on the spiritual significance of the Hindola festival.

The Hindola festival is a traditional celebration where a swing (Hindola) is beautifully decorated, and the Murti of God is placed on it. The event typically involves various themes, where the Hindola is adorned in different styles, each carrying unique symbolism. During the Hindola Quiz, students were tested on their knowledge of these themes, the rituals associated with the festival, and the spiritual teachings conveyed through the Hindola celebrations.
