Devotional Creations Hostel Students Sculpt Ganesh Ji from Soil

At Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Bangalore, the hostel students participated in a unique and devotional activity—crafting Ganesh Ji idols using soil, a humble yet symbolic gesture. Under the theme ‘Ganesh Ji from Earth: A Devotional Creation,’ the students poured their hearts into shaping beautiful murtis of Bhagwan Ganesh Ji. After completing their creations, they proudly presented their idols to Swamiji, who carefully examined each one and selected the most well-crafted murti, appreciating the devotion and effort behind the work.

However, in true spirit of inclusiveness, all the Ganesh murtis, whether selected or not, were honored equally on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi. A grand pooja was performed for each idol, symbolizing the students’ devotion and dedication. This celebration not only emphasized the artistic talents of the students but also deepened their spiritual connection with Bhagwan Ganesh Ji. Swamiji’s appreciation and blessings filled the day with joy, making it a memorable and spiritually uplifting experience for all.
