Ganesh Utsav Celebration – A Joyous Evening of Devotion, Culture, and Festivity @ Hostel

On 15th September 2024, the hostel of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Jadcherla, came alive with the vibrant and divine celebrations of Ganesh Utsav. This auspicious event was filled with devotion, cultural performances, and a unique Laddu auction that brought the entire school community together in joy and harmony.

Cultural Performances – Dance by Yajurveda and Samveda Houses
Following the Laddu auction, students from Yajurveda House and Samveda House put on an enthralling dance performance. Their graceful movements and lively energy were met with applause, as their dances embodied the spirit of devotion and celebration. It was a proud moment for all, showcasing the talent and dedication of the students.

Laddu Auction – A Spirited and Enthusiastic Event
One of the main highlights of the celebration was the much-anticipated Laddu auction, where students eagerly participated to win the blessed offerings. The competition was fierce, but the joy and excitement filled the air as the following students emerged as winners:

* 5kg Laddu: ₹52,111/- won by Ramcharan (X Std)
* 2kg Laddu: ₹33,111/- won by Dheeraj (VIII Std)
* Kalash: ₹11,111/- won by Hemashankar V (V Std)
* Shawl: ₹14,711/- won by Avadesh (IX Std)
* Shawl: ₹6,811/- won by Yogesh, Anirudh & Harshvardhan (X Std)

The winners proudly performed the Aarti, seeking divine blessings for themselves and everyone present. The atmosphere was one of unity and gratitude as the students and staff celebrated their devotion through this unique cultural tradition.

Prasad Distribution and Ras Garba – A Grand Conclusion
After the cultural performances, Prasad was distributed to everyone, symbolizing the blessings of Lord Ganesh. The evening concluded with an energetic Ras Garba performance by the students of X Std, bringing everyone together to dance in celebration. The joy and enthusiasm were contagious, and the students fully embraced the festive spirit, making this Ganesh Utsav an unforgettable experience for all.
