Makar Sankranti Celebration at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School
On January 10, 2025, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, BDR-ZHB branch, celebrated Makar Sankranti with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Director Sir, Principal Sir, and Vice-Principal Sir.
The celebration began with a special assembly, followed by a traditional puja performed by our school’s priests. The tiny tots were blessed with the shower of flowers and berries by the teachers. The students showcased their talents through various cultural performances, including traditional dances.
The highlight of the celebration was the kite-flying ceremony, where students and staff gathered on the school grounds to fly kites of various colors and designs. Til-gud and sweets were also distributed among students and staff.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about and celebrate our rich cultural heritage.
