It serves as an opportunity for students to learn about Indian culture, mythology, and traditions. Here’s how the celebration can be organized in a school setting:

1. Decoration & Ambience
The school can be adorned with flowers, rangoli, and posters of Lord Shiva.
A small temple setup with a Shivling can be arranged for prayers and offerings.
2. Special Assembly
The event can begin with a morning assembly dedicated to Shivratri.
Students can chant Om Namah Shivaya and recite shlokas.
Teachers can give a short speech on the significance of the festival.
3. Cultural Performances
Dance Performances: Students can present classical dance forms, stories of Lord Shiva.
