Hostel Reporting Junior | Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

On 15th June 2025, the serene campus of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Vijayawada, was filled with joy and enthusiasm as the Hostel Reporting for Junior students took place. After a refreshing summer break, the campus once again came alive with the arrival of young Gurukulites along with their eager parents. The school management, along with the hostel staff, warmly welcomed the students at the reception area. The juniors, filled with excitement and a hint of nervousness, stepped into the hostel premises, ready to embark on another fruitful academic journey.

The hostel in-charges and housemasters guided the parents and students through a smooth check-in process. The students were allotted their respective rooms and provided with necessary materials. The campus was abuzz with interactions, as parents expressed their gratitude to the Swamijis, wardens, and staff for ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for their children. Special arrangements were made for refreshments, and the newly admitted students were familiarized with hostel rules, daily routines, and the value-based Gurukul culture that fosters discipline and holistic development.

As part of the reporting day program, Pujya Swamijis addressed the parents and students, sharing inspiring words on the importance of hostel life in shaping the character of a child. They emphasized how staying in the Gurukul’s spiritual and academic atmosphere helps students cultivate virtues like discipline, respect, self-reliance, and devotion. Parents left with satisfaction and peace of mind, knowing their children were in an environment that promotes academic excellence as well as moral and spiritual growth.

The event concluded on a positive note, with students settling into their rooms, meeting their new roommates, and participating in an introductory session with hostel mentors.
