Future Begins Vartaman Diksha | Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

On 27th June 2025, the entire campus of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Vijayawada, was filled with an atmosphere of devotion and spiritual fervour as a sacred Vartma Diksha ceremony was conducted for the students. This divine occasion was graced by the revered Pujya Mahant Swamiji Shree Devaprasadji Swamiji and Pujya Shukvallabhdasji Swamiji, whose presence and blessings made this day truly memorable for everyone.

Vartma Diksha holds a special place in the Swaminarayan tradition. It is a sacred vow through which devotees commit themselves to a path of righteousness, purity, and discipline. By taking this Diksha, the students pledge to follow the spiritual and moral guidelines laid down by Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan, which help them lead a life of devotion and good conduct.

Pujya Devaprasadji Swamiji personally blessed the students and bestowed the Vartma Diksha upon them. Swamiji explained the deep meaning and significance of this vow, encouraging the students to stay firm on the spiritual path despite the distractions of modern life. He reminded them that through discipline, devotion, and regular practice of satsang, one can overcome worldly temptations and achieve inner peace and spiritual progress.

Pujya Shukvallabhdasji Swamiji also addressed the students, motivating them to uphold the values of Sadvidya (true education) and Brahmavidya (spiritual knowledge) in their everyday lives. He emphasized that the principles they are accepting today will shape their character, guide their actions, and ultimately make them responsible and compassionate citizens of society.
