Diwali Celebration at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul

18th October 2025

The festival of lights, Diwali, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul on 18th October 2025. The celebration began with the auspicious inauguration by Pujyapad Tirth Swaroop Das Ji Swamiji, who enlightened everyone with his inspiring words on the spiritual significance of Diwali and the message of righteousness it conveys.

The students from the primary section captivated the audience by dressing up as Bhagwan Shri Ram, Sita Mata, and Lakshman, beautifully portraying scenes from the Ramayana. Their dance and drama performances added a devotional essence to the occasion, while the Diya decoration activity showcased their creativity and festive spirit.

The higher primary and secondary students presented a meaningful drama on King Bali Chakravarti, highlighting the virtues of humility and devotion. To encourage environmental awareness, Class 6 and 7 students prepared posters on the theme “Diwali – The Festival of Lights,” and Class 8 and 9 students created posters on “Eco-Friendly Diwali.”

The celebration truly reflected the cultural richness and values of Gurukul education, inspiring students to celebrate Diwali with joy, devotion, and responsibility.
