Celebrating Childhood with Values – Children’s Day
Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School celebrated Children’s Day with immense joy, devotion, and warmth, truly capturing the essence of childhood blended with the rich values of the Gurukul tradition. The entire campus echoed with laughter, learning, and lively performances, making the day unforgettable for every student.
The celebration commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing knowledge and purity. This was followed by Guru Vandana and melodious Bhajans by the teachers, creating a peaceful and spiritually uplifting ambience.
Pujya Swamiji’s Aashirvachan was the highlight of the morning session. Swamiji inspired the students to embrace humility, gratitude, and wisdom while cherishing the innocence and beauty of childhood. His words left a deep impression on the hearts of everyone present.
The cultural programme brought waves of joy as teachers presented a humorous and relatable skit titled “When Students Become Teachers”. The hall filled with laughter as scenes from everyday school life were portrayed creatively.
A spirited round of Bhajan Antakshari – Teachers vs Students further energized the audience, encouraging participation, devotion, and friendly excitement.
Following the indoors celebration, Prasad was distributed to all, spreading blessings and positivity throughout the campus.
The festivities continued outdoors with a series of thrilling Sports Competitions – Students vs Teachers. Events such as tug-of-war, relay races, and fun challenge games added energy, teamwork, and healthy competition to the celebration. Students thoroughly enjoyed seeing their teachers take part in the challenges with equal enthusiasm.
The entire day beautifully combined devotion, culture, playfulness, and values, creating lifelong memories for the Gurukulites.
