Gurukul Olympics Inaugurated at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Kalaburagi
On 27 November 2025, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Kalaburagi witnessed a historic and inspiring moment with the grand inauguration of the Gurukul Olympics — a celebration of sportsmanship, discipline, and unity.
The event was inaugurated by Shri Sharanappa S. D. (IPS), who blessed the gathering with his motivating presence as the Chief Guest. The ceremony commenced with the auspicious Puja of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, performed in the divine presence of Krushnacharan Swamiji, Nayanpriya Swamiji, and Chaturbhuj Swamiji, invoking blessings for a spirited and successful sports festival.
This year’s Gurukul Olympics brought together 25 schools and over 3000 students, creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, energy, and healthy competition. The grand march-past by the participating students displayed exceptional discipline and unity, setting the tone for the days ahead. The event was further enriched with vibrant cultural performances reflecting our values of culture, teamwork, and holistic development.
Representatives from all participating schools carried their school flags with pride, symbolising harmony, sportsmanship, and collective commitment to excellence. The gathering showcased not just sports, but the true spirit of togetherness, inspiring every student to strive, perform, and shine.
