ISKCON Saints Inspire Students at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Kalaburagi
On 5th March 2026, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Kalaburagi had the privilege of hosting revered saints from the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). The visit created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere on the campus and offered students a valuable opportunity to learn from experienced spiritual guides.
During the session, Suvarna Gaura Hari Das Ji Swamiji addressed the students and spoke on the powerful topic of mastering the mind and living a disciplined life. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, Swamiji explained how controlling one’s thoughts and habits helps a person achieve peace, focus, and success in life.
He also shared insights about sattvic food habits and explained the traditional spiritual reasons for avoiding foods like onion and garlic, encouraging students to follow a pure and balanced lifestyle that supports both physical health and spiritual growth.
The program began with a warm welcome by Gulbarga Gurukul Incharge Nayan Swamiji, who respectfully felicitated the visiting saints and expressed gratitude for their valuable guidance to the students. The interaction was engaging and thought-provoking, leaving a deep impact on the young minds present in the gathering.
