# English Week Celebration
To promote confidence and fluency in English communication, our school organized a vibrant **English Week** celebration. The event aimed to encourage students to improve their language skills through participation in a variety of engaging activities.
Several competitions were conducted throughout the week, including Debate, Essay Writing, Speech, Elocution, Quiz, Extempore, Story Writing, and other English-based events. Students from all classes enthusiastically participated, displaying their talents in speaking, writing, and critical thinking. The winners of each competition were recognized and appreciated for their outstanding performances.
A major highlight of English Week was the launch of **SGEF (Swaminarayan Gurukul English Fraternity)**. As part of this initiative, **SGEF Leaders** were selected from different classes to promote the regular use of English throughout the school. These leaders are responsible for observing and encouraging students to communicate in English during school hours. They politely remind and motivate their classmates to speak in English, help correct simple language mistakes, inspire active participation in English conversations, and contribute to creating a positive English-speaking environment on the campus.
The celebration concluded successfully, leaving students inspired to use English confidently in their daily lives. Through the **Swaminarayan Gurukul English Fraternity (SGEF)** initiative, the school continues its commitment to developing strong communication skills, fostering confidence in English, and preparing students for future academic and professional success.
