Sri Sri Ravishankar Guruji visits Swaminarayan Gurukul International School after Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya Verdict

On this historic day that is today(9th Nov 2019), when a centuries-old dispute of Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya was put to rest, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Bangalore was graced by the visit of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji. Guruji has been keen to come and visit Gurukul, especially as he admires the endeavors of saints of Swaminarayan Bhagwan like Guru Maharaj and Param Pujya Shri Devprasaddasji Swami. The institution is serving as an institution to transform 21st-century children into individuals with high moral & spiritual human values that would bring a wise society bringing peace, development, and harmony in the world in contrast to the current pinning concerns of modern media, addictions and more.

In this historic moment that our nation is into, the visit of Guruji will surely remain as a source of inspiration for the children of Swaminarayan Gurukul. He was extremely happy to see Gurukul students learning moral & spiritual values with education and expressed in his usual sweetly words “How beautiful and divine campus this is, I was wanting to visit, you all are very fortunate for studying in this institution where you have everything like the residential facilities along with good values, therefore study from Gurukul and become good & proud citizens of our Great Nation. My blessings are always with you.”

Sri Sri Ravishankar Guruji, as a person needs no introduction, a bearer of Padma Vibhushan the second highest citizen award of India, the one who has been into many peace movements through his Art of Living foundation in India and various parts of the world. He has been an active reformer of many social inter-religious concerns of India. Moreover, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji played a vital role in the Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya Dispute. He was therefore appointed by the Supreme Court as the part of a three-member mediation team to help and find a solution that would satisfy both religious groups. The same, today on 9th November 2019, was put to an end by the Supreme Court with a very fair verdict.

And, we are glad that amidst his busy time and schedule Guruji has graced his presence at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul and address to the children of Gurukul.
