English Medium Rath Yatra Celebration

Our school, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Nikol, Ahmedabad- joyfully celebrated Rath Yatra, filled with devotion and enthusiasm! The festivities began with beautifully decorated chariots featuring Lord Jagannath, Balram, and Subhadraji. Swamiji, Students and Teachers alike participated in pulling the chariots around the school premises, recreating the traditional ritual of the Rath Yatra procession.

Our revered Swamiji, Pujya Vedant Dasji Swamiji, delivered an inspiring speech on the significance of Rath Yatra, highlighting its spiritual and cultural importance. His words resonated with the students and staff, deepening their understanding and appreciation of the festival.

The celebration continued with captivating dance and drama performances by our students, showcasing their talents and creativity. The performances were a testament to the students’ understanding of the cultural significance of Rath Yatra.

Additionally, we marked the birthday of our beloved Shastriji Maharaj, a revered figure in our school’s spiritual community. The day was filled with joy, devotion, and celebration, as we honored his legacy and contributions to our school.
