The Gurukul Olympics Inauguration Ceremony at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Ahmedabad took place on December 25th, 2024, and was an event filled with excitement and celebration. The ceremony marked the official launch of the much-awaited Gurukul Olympics, where students from various grades participated in a friendly and competitive atmosphere.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, a cultural gesture to invoke blessings by P.P Tyagvallabhdasji Swamiji, P.P Yogeshwar Dasji Swami and P.P Vedant Darshan Swamiji, for the success of the event. The lamp was lit by the chief guest, Shri N.N.Chaudhari Sir, Dynamic IPS Officer Additional C.P. Ahmedabad City,Amit Chaudhary (District Sports Officer),Maulik Patel(SGFI U-17 National Coach),Rupesh Makwana (World Record Holder),Sanjaysinh Jadeja , Sajjansinh Jadeja, along with the Principal Digvijaysinh Jadeja & Sachin Goswami Sir, and other school authorities. This moment symbolized the beginning of the event, filling the air with positivity and energy for the day ahead.
The ceremony was further graced by the presence of Principal Digvijaysinh Jadeja & Sachin Goswami Sir , who shared his thoughts with the students. His speech focused on the importance of sports in shaping not only physical health but also fostering teamwork, leadership, and resilience among the students.
