Chaturmas Niyam Ceremony – Day School

Published On: July 25, 2026

At Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Bangalore, the Chaturmas Niyam Ceremony was solemnly observed, marking the beginning of the sacred four-month period of Chaturmas. During the morning assembly on 25th July 2026, all students and staff members were inspired to strengthen their spiritual discipline by taking three personal niyams (vows) to follow sincerely throughout the entire Chaturmas period.

With the divine guidance of Pujya Swamijis, everyone pledged their niyams in front of the assembly, expressing their commitment to self-discipline, devotion, and righteous living. These spiritual resolutions encourage the practice of virtues such as regular prayer, scriptural reading, seva, honesty, self-control, and other positive habits that help one grow spiritually.

The ceremony served as a powerful reminder that Chaturmas is a sacred opportunity for inner transformation. By faithfully observing these niyams over the next four months, students and staff embark on a meaningful journey of spiritual growth, discipline, and devotion, further strengthening the values and traditions of Gurukul.
