Dream Board Drawing competition

At Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Bangalore, the open green field blossomed with creativity, purpose, and passion as students from Grade 5 to 12 gathered for a truly heart-touching and visionary celebration—“Dream Board Day.”

In a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, students formed free groups across the field, each one immersed in visualizing their future. With blank sheets and vibrant colors, they began drawing their biggest dreams and life goals—whether it was becoming a doctor, advocate, engineer, artist, monk, cricketer, or scientist. Every dream board was a unique reflection of each student’s inner calling.

The field was alive with quiet determination, cheerful conversations, and bursts of creativity. Mentors walked around offering words of inspiration, while students shared ideas and helped each other bring their aspirations to life.

What made the day even more special was the presence of our respected Swamijis, who joined to witness the beautiful ocean of dreams these young minds had created. The best dream boards, as well as the most creative and thoughtful drawings, were recognized and rewarded by Swamijis themselves—filling the hearts of the winners with joy and pride.

‘The dream is not what you see in sleep. Dream is something that does not let you sleep.’
– Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

Dream Board Day was not just an activity—it was a celebration of self-discovery, vision, and belief. It reminded everyone that the first step toward a purposeful life is daring to dream—and today, every child did just that.

A field filled with colors, hopes, blessings—and dreams ready to take flight. 🌈✨
