Holi Celebration

Published On: March 4, 2026

At Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Bangalore, the celebration of Holi was filled with devotion, culture, and vibrant colors. On the second day of Holi, the entire temple of Bhagwan Swaminarayan was beautifully decorated with colorful flowers, rangoli, and festive arrangements. The divine atmosphere made the celebration even more special and spiritually uplifting.

The highlight of the day was when the idol of Swaminarayan was adorned with colors, symbolizing joy and divine love. It felt as if Bhagwan himself was playing Holi with all of us. Students and teachers gathered together in the temple premises, singing devotional kirtans with great enthusiasm. The sound of bhajans and clapping filled the air with positivity and devotion.

Swamiji then shared inspiring stories from the life of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, explaining the true meaning of Holi — the victory of good over evil and the importance of purity, unity, and faith. His words touched everyone’s heart and reminded us that festivals are not only about enjoyment but also about spiritual growth.

After the spiritual session, Swamiji lovingly applied tilak and colors to all the students as a blessing. He also distributed chocolates, spreading happiness among everyone. The smiles on the students’ faces reflected the joy of celebrating Holi in a disciplined and devotional way.

This is how we celebrate Holi at Gurukul — with devotion, culture, unity, and divine blessings.e
