Gurukul International School Bangalore recently hosted a captivating academic event, the “Mythology Story Telling Competition (Pre-Primary),” on February 15, 2024. The competition aimed to nurture the storytelling skills of young students in classes 1st and 2nd, while introducing them to the rich tapestry of mythological tales.
The theme of the competition was storytelling, with a focus on spiritual stories that delve into specific cultures, religions, or groups of people. The young participants were encouraged to explore the fascinating world of mythology, incorporating deities like Swaminarayan Bhagwan, Ram Bhagwan, and Shivji.
The competition was a platform for students to showcase their creativity, imagination, and public speaking skills. As they narrated their mythological tales, the students demonstrated their conviction in manifested God, recognition, experiencing, God-centric choice, and allegiance. Their ability to captivate their audience with their storytelling abilities was truly commendable.
The competition was judged by esteemed Swamis, Tirthswarupdasji Swami and Harivallabhdasji Swami, whose expertise and guidance proved invaluable in assessing the students’ performances. The Swamis evaluated the students’ storytelling skills, content, delivery, and overall impact.
