Sci-Fi Fest 2024: Exploring the Future of Science and Imagination

From August 20th to August 24th, 2024, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Bangalore proudly hosts the Sci-Fi Fest, a celebration of science fiction and the remarkable achievements of scientists throughout history. This event is a unique opportunity for students to dive into the world of imagination and innovation, where science meets creativity.

The fest kicks off with a debate competition, where students will engage in lively discussions about the ethical implications and future possibilities of emerging technologies. This will be followed by an essay writing contest that challenges participants to explore the impact of scientific advancements on society. Whether it’s the exploration of space, the development of artificial intelligence, or the mysteries of quantum physics, students will have the chance to express their thoughts and ideas.

A highlight of the event is the ‘Meet the Scientists’ segment, where students will present on the lives and works of renowned scientists, shedding light on how their discoveries have shaped our modern world. From Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity to Nikola Tesla’s pioneering work on electricity, the contributions of these great minds will be celebrated and discussed.

The fest will culminate in a Mega Event on August 24th, where the brightest minds from the Gurukul will showcase their talents and knowledge in an exciting and dynamic setting. This grand finale will feature presentations, performances, and a celebration of all things science fiction.
