Self Management Day at Hostel

At Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Bangalore, a unique Self Management Day was organised at the hostel on 8th September 2026 as part of the Teachers’ Day celebration. The activity gave students an opportunity to experience responsibility, leadership, discipline, and the importance of managing others with care and confidence.

A few selected students were given the special responsibility of taking on the roles of dummy wardens and hostel in-charges. Throughout the day, they managed and guided the other students, following the same routines, responsibilities, and discipline maintained by the actual wardens and hostel in-charges. By stepping into these roles, the students gained a practical understanding of the efforts and responsibilities involved in managing a hostel.

The Self Management Day became a meaningful learning experience, encouraging students to develop leadership, accountability, discipline, and self-management skills. It also helped them appreciate the dedication and responsibilities carried by their teachers and hostel staff every day. 🙏✨
