At Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, the celebration of Shikshapatri Jayanti was held with great devotion, discipline, and joy. The occasion was especially meaningful because it marked 200 years since the divine Shikshapatri was revealed, making the event truly historic for everyone present.
The program began in a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere with the chanting of prayers and the lighting of lamps. Swamiji performed a sacred pooja for Shikshapatri Jayanti, seeking blessings for all students and teachers. After the pooja, a beautiful aarti was performed, filling the hall with divine vibrations. Students sat silently, joined their hands in prayer, and felt a deep sense of devotion.
One of the most inspiring parts of the celebration was when students came forward to read verses from the Shikshapatri. Their clear voices and sincere expressions showed their respect for the holy scripture and its teachings. The talks given during the program explained the importance of Shikshapatri in guiding a disciplined, moral, and spiritual life. Everyone listened attentively and learned valuable lessons about honesty, respect, self-control, and devotion.
An attractive exhibition on Shikshapatri was also arranged in the school. Colorful banners, charts, and displays explained the history, rules, and values of the Shikshapatri in a simple and creative way. Swamiji visited the exhibition and appreciated the hard work of the students. The Shikshapatri students proudly explained to other students what Shikshapatri is and why it is important in our daily life.
Students from different classes visited the exhibition, observed the displays carefully, and asked questions with great interest. The entire campus felt spiritual and joyful throughout the day.
The celebration of Shikshapatri Jayanti was not only a religious event but also a wonderful learning experience.
