Krishna Janmashtami Celebration.
The festival of Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great devotion and cultural fervor at Gurukul -Bidar on 16th of August. The entire campus was beautifully decorated with flowers, buntings, and colorful rangolis, creating a divine and festive atmosphere.
The program began with a special assembly where students offered prayers to Ghanshyam Maharaj and listened to melodious bhajans in praise of Lord Krishna. The highlight of the celebration was the cultural performances presented by the students, which included skits on episodes from Lord Krishna’s life, devotional songs, and traditional dance.
Adding to the excitement, a “Dahi Handi” event was organized, where students enthusiastically participated in breaking the handi, symbolizing the playful and mischievous nature of young Krishna. The audience cheered as the participants showcased their energy, teamwork, and devotion.
Principal Sir addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of Janmashtami. “The life of Lord Krishna inspires us to walk on the path of truth, righteousness, and selfless devotion. Such celebrations not only connect us to our culture but also instill moral values in our learners,” the Principal remarked.
