Sankranti Celebration

With the blessings of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan Maharaj and the revered saints, our school joyfully celebrated Sankranti, embracing the spirit of Indian culture and age-old traditions. The campus came alive with festive colours, enthusiasm, and togetherness as students and teachers participated wholeheartedly in the celebrations.
As part of the cultural activities, traditional Pongal was prepared, helping students understand the significance of gratitude towards nature, farmers, and the harvest season. The aroma of freshly cooked Pongal, along with explanations of its cultural importance, made the experience both educational and memorable.
Another highlight of the celebration was kite flying, symbolising joy, freedom, and the onset of new beginnings. Students delighted in flying colourful kites while learning about the traditional importance of Sankranti across different regions of India.
The celebration aimed to instil respect for tradition, unity, and cultural values among students. Such activities help connect young minds to their roots while creating joyful learning experiences beyond the classroom.
The Sankranti celebration was a grand success, leaving behind smiles, learning, and cherished festive memories for everyone involved.
