-With the Divine Blessings of Guru Maharaj

With the divine grace of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan and the heartfelt blessings of our beloved Guru Maharaj, the students of our Gurukul solemnly took the sacred Panch Vartman—five moral vows that form the foundation of a pure and disciplined life.

The ceremony began in a serene spiritual ambience with prayers and discourses by revered saints. Students were guided to lead a life of restraint, righteousness, and devotion by following these five vows:

1. Not to eat non-vegetarian food
2. Not to consume alcohol or any intoxicants
3. Not to steal
4. Not to eat outside food (except prasad or satvik meals prepared at home)
5. Not to commit adultery or any immoral act

These vows serve as the cornerstone of character-building and self-discipline in a student’s life. Through enlightening talks and blessings, Guru Maharaj inspired all to live by these principles and become true seekers of purity, service, and devotion.

This momentous event marked a new beginning for our students—not just as learners of academics, but as followers of dharma, guided by the eternal teachings of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
