Children’s Day Celebration at SGIS
Today, we celebrated Children’s Day with immense joy, creativity, and enthusiasm. With the divine blessings of Supreme Lord Bhagavan Swaminarayan and PP NayanPriyaDas Swamiji, & PP Sarvadarshan Das Swamiji, the students were inspired and motivated to embrace values of discipline, creativity, and unity.
The day began with a solemn assembly where the Swamijis addressed the students, sharing words of wisdom and encouragement that resonated deeply with everyone present. Their blessings set a positive and vibrant tone for the day’s festivities.
As part of Social Week, the students of Classes VII and VIII presented a thought-provoking play that beautifully depicted “Life Before Mobile and After Mobile.” Their performance skillfully showcased the transformation in human interactions and relationships over time, leaving the audience both entertained and reflective.
The younger children from the primary classes added colour and charm to the day by dressing up as Chacha Jawaharlal Nehruji, paying tribute to the first Prime Minister of India and his enduring love for children. Their adorable costumes and innocent enthusiasm brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
The celebrations extended to the outdoor grounds, where the students participated in selection trials and house matches. The spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork was evident as students from various houses competed passionately in friendly matches, making the day lively and energetic.
The Children’s Day celebration was a perfect blend of fun, learning, and inspiration, leaving the students with cherished memories and a sense of belonging. It was a day to honour the joy and innocence of childhood, guided by the blessings of our revered Swamijis.
