Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration at Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Gulbarga
On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, celebrated on 7th September 2024, SwamiNarayan Gurukul International School, Gulbarga, was filled with divine energy and enthusiasm. The celebration brought together students, teachers, and the revered Param Pujya Nayanpriyadasji Swamiji for a day of cultural and spiritual activities.
The event commenced with students from Pre-primary and Primary classes engaging in clay idol making, creating beautiful representations of Lord Ganesha with their hands. High School students followed with the crafting of eco-friendly idols, emphasizing the importance of sustainability in our celebrations.
The arrival of Lord Ganesha was met with great enthusiasm as students welcomed the deity in a traditional manner. The atmosphere was further elevated by the Ganesh Vandana and aarti led by Param Pujya Nayanpriyadasji Swamiji, where students and staff joined in offering their prayers.
Cultural performances added to the vibrancy of the celebration. Students expressed their devotion through heartfelt dance performances, showcasing their talent and dedication. The performances were segmented by class levels:
Dance performance by Classes 1st-2nd students
Dance performance by Classes 4th-5th students
Dance performance by Classes 6th-7th students
Dance performance by Classes 8th-9th students
Each performance was a testament to the students’ hard work and devotion, making the event memorable for all present.
