A Poster-Making Competition was conducted for Class 6 on the topic “Photosynthesis” to promote creative learning and a better understanding of science concepts. The objective of the activity was to encourage students to visually express their knowledge about how plants make their own food using sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide.

Through this activity, students explored the process of photosynthesis, its importance to plants and humans, and its role in maintaining environmental balance. Using drawings, labels, and brief descriptions, they beautifully illustrated elements such as sunlight, chlorophyll, water absorption, and oxygen release.

The competition not only reinforced classroom learning but also enhanced students’ artistic skills, creativity, and scientific thinking. All participants showed great enthusiasm and presented colorful, informative posters. The best entries were appreciated and proudly displayed on the classroom wall to inspire their peers.
