International Yoga Day Celebration – 21 June 2026
On the occasion of International Yoga Day, celebrated on 21 June 2026, our school had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Veeresh Kulkarni Sir as the chief yoga instructor. His visit made the celebration meaningful, inspiring, and educational for all students and staff.
The session began with a brief introduction to the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental peace, and emotional balance. Veeresh Kulkarni Sir explained how regular yoga practice helps improve concentration, flexibility, posture, and overall well-being. He also encouraged students to make yoga a part of their daily routine for a healthy and disciplined lifestyle.
Under his expert guidance, students enthusiastically performed various yoga asanas, stretching exercises, breathing techniques (Pranayama), and meditation. Sir patiently demonstrated each posture and corrected students wherever necessary, ensuring everyone understood the proper techniques. His simple explanations and motivating words inspired students to participate with great interest and energy.
The entire school campus was filled with positivity and enthusiasm as students practiced yoga together. The session concluded with a message emphasizing that yoga is not just an exercise but a way of life that promotes harmony between the body, mind, and soul.
