194th Shraadh Utsav of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Jadcherla

Today, we observed the 194th Shraadh Utsav of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Jadcherla, with heartfelt devotion. This sacred occasion, generously sponsored by our students, stands as a tribute to the profound legacy of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan and his timeless teachings.

The event began with a special Rasoi, where 11 varieties of prasad were prepared as an offering to Bhagwan Swaminarayan. Each dish symbolized the values of humility, selflessness, and service that Bhagwan instilled in his followers. The students played a pivotal role in organizing and sponsoring this Rasoi, exemplifying their commitment to upholding his spiritual teachings.

The Thal was offered to Bhagwan Swaminarayan, followed by the distribution of prasad to all present. This act of sharing was a powerful reminder of the divine joy that comes from serving others, a cornerstone of Bhagwan’s message. The event not only honored Bhagwan’s spiritual journey to Akshardham on June 1, 1830, but also reaffirmed the importance of maintaining his legacy through Shraadh and Pitru Paksh traditions.
