205th Vachanamrut Jayanti Celebration

On 5th December 2024, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Jadcherla, celebrated the 205th Vachanamrut Jayanti with devotion, spirituality, and enthusiasm. The day honored the Vachanamrutam, a sacred scripture embodying the nectar of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan’s spiritual discourses, delivered during the last decade of His earthly presence.

📜 The Vachanamrut—“Vachan” (speech) + “Amrut” (nectar)—is a divine treasure of *262 teachings, meticulously recorded by saints Muktanand Swami, Gopalanand Swami, Nityanand Swami, and Shukanand Swami. It stands as the essence of the 4 Vedas, 18 Puranas, and all spiritual scriptures, offering timeless wisdom on knowledge, nonattachment, dharma, and devotion*.

The celebration commenced with the students performing 🕉️ Dhoon, 🪔 Poojan, and 🌺 Aarti*of the Vachanamrutam, guided by P. Nayanpriyadasji Swamiji. His divine presence elevated the spiritual energy, filling everyone with profound inspiration.
P. Darshanpriyadasji Swamiji then delivered an enlightening discourse, emphasizing the eternal significance of the Vachanamrutam in achieving supreme devotion and spiritual salvation.

🌸 The sacred scripture is the “nectar” that leads to real immortality. It is believed that reading the Vachanamrutam is equivalent to studying the Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata, and countless other scriptures combined.

🎊 The day radiated with devotion, peace, and unity. The students and staff were left inspired to incorporate the teachings of the Vachanamrut into their lives, fostering a path toward divine grace and eternal bliss.
