On 24th August 2024, Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Jadcherla, came alive with vibrant and joyous Krishna Janmashtami celebrations. With the divine blessings of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, our Day School students enthusiastically participated in various activities, showcasing their devotion and creativity.

The festivities included a delightful Krishna Costume Show where young students dressed as little Krishnas, capturing everyone’s hearts. 🕺✨ Idol Making allowed students to craft beautiful representations of Lord Krishna, reflecting their artistic skills. 🛕 The Dance Performances were energetic and graceful, embodying the spirit of the occasion. 🕺

One of the event’s highlights was the thrilling Matka Breaking competition, which brought out the competitive spirit in our students, adding excitement to the celebrations. 🏺 The chanting of Shlokas by our Gurukulites created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, reminding everyone of the festival’s deep cultural and religious significance. 📿

The celebrations concluded with a special Prize Distribution Ceremony where P. Sarvadarshandasji Swamiji honored the outstanding performances of our Day School students. 🏆 Swamiji also shared valuable insights into the significance of Janmashtami, enriching the students’ understanding of this important festival. 🙏

We are incredibly proud of our Day School students for their enthusiastic participation, making this Janmashtami a truly memorable event at our Gurukul. 🎉
