On October 28, 2024, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Jadcherla, organized an insightful Parenting Seminar on Zoom, with over 450 parents participating. Led by Pujya Sarvadarshandasji Swamiji and Mr. Venkatrami Reddy (C.O – Brahmavidya), the seminar tackled the crucial theme: “Avoid 6 Mistakes in Parenting.”
Swamiji shared vivid, real-life examples of both effective and ineffective parenting styles, illustrating how modern parenting often leans towards shielding children from challenges, inadvertently fostering sensitivity over resilience. He urged parents to shift towards preparing children for the realities and challenges of life, rather than merely accommodating their sensitivities. Mr. Venkatrami Reddy provided practical tips, helping parents adopt strategies to foster confidence, strength, and adaptability in their children.
This engaging seminar left parents with valuable insights and actionable strategies, marking another meaningful step in the Gurukul’s commitment to nurturing both students and their families in a holistic manner.
