Children’s Day Celebration
Date: 14th November (Birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru)
Objective: To promote joy, laughter, and happiness among children, acknowledging their importance and rights.
Activities:
Morning Assembly:
1. Welcome speech by Principal
2. Children’s Day-themed prayer song
3. Thought for the day on children’s rights and responsibilities
Cultural Events:
1. Kids’ talent show (singing, dancing, storytelling)
2. Skits and plays by children
3. Music performances (vocal and instrumental)
4. Fancy dress competition by pre primary
Games and Contests:
1. Drawing and painting contest
2. Storytelling session
Food and Refreshments:
1. Sweets distribution to students
Gift Distribution:
1. Distribute gifts or tokens of appreciation to students
Decorations:
1. Balloons
2. Colorful posters and banners
3. Kids’ artwork display
A part of the event was also celebrated in the near by temple .making students understand the value it .
Students enjoyed having fun games and Prasad was offered by temple for all students and staff .
