Janmashtami Celebration

Happy Janmashtami! 🎉

Date: 26th August 📆

Objective: To celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna and promote cultural awareness and values among students 🙏

Activities:

1️⃣ Decorations: 🎈 Decorated the school with balloons, streamers, and posters of Lord Krishna 📸

2️⃣ Dress Code: 👕 Encouraged students to wear traditional Indian attire, such as kurta-pyjama and salwar-kameez 👗

3️⃣ Puja and Aarti: 🙏 Conducted a puja and aarti ceremony in the school, led by little Krishnas 🕉️

4️⃣ Krishna Janmashtami Skit: 🎭 Organized a skit or play depicting the friendship between Lord Krishna and Sudhama 🤝

5️⃣ Bhajan and Kirtan: 🎶 Hosted a bhajan and kirtan session, where students sang devotional songs 🙏

6️⃣ Matki Phod: 🎉 Organized a Matki Phod competition, where students can participate and break the matki (pot) hung from a height 🏆

7️⃣ Prasad Distribution: 🍿 Distributed prasad, such as sweets and fruits, among students and staff 🍉

Preparations:

1️⃣ Prepared a photo booth with traditional props, such as flutes, peacock feathers, and Krishna’s attire 📸

2️⃣ Invited parents and guests to join in the celebration 🎉

Message: Janmashtami is a celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna, who symbolizes love, compassion, and wisdom 🙏. Let us come together to celebrate this auspicious occasion and promote values of kindness, empathy, and selflessness among our students 💖
