By the blessing of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan and elderly saints, the Gurukul Olympics 2024 began with great enthusiasm, marking a thrilling start to this annual sports extravaganza. Distinguished guest Devang Desai, a renowned cricketing personality and Level 1 Cricket Coach at the National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru, graced the inauguration, inspiring participants with his presence and motivational words. The event commenced with the sacred Arti of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan, a traditional welcome, and a colorful balloon release symbolizing the aspirations of the young athletes.

The first day featured intense track and field events, including 100m, 200m, and 400m races, alongside fun activities like the lemon spoon and sack races. Team sports such as badminton and cricket highlighted teamwork and strategic thinking, while mesmerizing dance performances added artistic flair. Students exhibited remarkable sportsmanship, making the day a memorable success.

Day 2 continued the momentum with renewed vigor, showcasing athletic excellence in events like shot put, long jump, tug of war, cricket, football, and badminton. The competitions were marked by intense dedication, strength, and precision, culminating in well-deserved medals for outstanding performances. The Gurukul Olympics 2024 celebrated unity, sportsmanship, and the holistic development of its participants, leaving an inspiring legacy for all involved.
