Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations | Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

On 27th August 2025, the hostel students of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Vijayawada experienced a deeply spiritual celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi 🙏🐘✨. The divine program began with the Abhishek of Lord Ganesha’s idol, performed with great devotion using the holy Panchamruth – a sacred mixture of milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugar 🥛🍯🥥. This was followed by a pure water bath 💧, symbolizing purification and divine blessings. After the Abhishek, Swamiji performed the Pujan with devotion, applying fragrant Chandan paste 🌿🪔 to the idol. Lord Ganesha’s idol was then beautifully dressed 👕✨ and decorated with fresh flowers 🌸🌼, radiating divine charm and grace.

As part of the rituals, Swamiji offered Prasad such as sweets 🍬🍮, bananas 🍌, and flowers 🌺 at the feet of Lord Ganesha. The atmosphere became filled with the fragrance of incense sticks and the soothing sound of devotional prayers 🕉️✨, creating a serene and holy environment. The most divine moment of the celebration was the Aarti 🔥🪔, performed by Swamiji with utmost devotion. The glow of the lamps and the rhythmic ringing of bells 🔔, along with sacred chanting, filled every heart with peace, devotion, and spiritual joy.

The celebration concluded gracefully after the Aarti, leaving the students spiritually uplifted and inspired 🌟❤️. This holy occasion not only deepened their faith in Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles 🙏🐘, but also reminded them of the values of discipline, devotion, and unity that Gurukul nurtures.

Indeed, the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at Gurukul was a blessed and memorable event 🌸✨, filling the hearts of all hostel students with divine joy and reverence towards Lord Ganesha.
