The 15th of August was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Vijayawada. The program was a blend of cultural performances, student achievements, and inspirational presence, making the day memorable for students, parents, and teachers alike.

The event was graced by Sri K. P. Balaji, retired Judge of the District Court, who attended as the Chief Guest. His presence and words of encouragement motivated the students to excel in their academic and personal journeys. Adding to the significance of the event, Pujya Krushna Murthy Swamiji and Pujya Rushi Charan Swamiji blessed the gathering with their divine presence, inspiring everyone with their guidance and spiritual values.

A major highlight of the day was the recognition of students’ achievements. Students who had excelled in the INTSO competitions were awarded certificates and gold medals for their outstanding performance. To acknowledge the highest achievers, first-place winners were honored with attractive prizes such as headphones, smartwatches, tablets, bags, and pouches. These rewards served not only as recognition but also as an inspiration for all other students to strive for excellence.

In addition, students were also felicitated with G-Stars certificates and prizes for their consistent efforts and achievements. This brought immense joy to the parents present at the event, who witnessed their children’s hard work being appreciated in front of the entire school community.

The cultural segment of the celebration was vibrant and enriching. The program began with a graceful welcome dance, which set a positive and festive tone for the occasion. The primary children’s dance performance brought smiles to everyone’s faces with its innocence and charm. The highlight of the cultural activities was the Roar of Narasimha dance performed by the senior students. This powerful presentation, filled with energy and devotion, captivated the audience and reflected the values of courage and faith.
