Raksha Bandhan For Day School | Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

On August 9th, 2025, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Vijayawada, joyfully celebrated Raksha Bandhan for the day scholars, marking a memorable occasion of love, respect, and spiritual bonding. The celebration commenced with a divine and auspicious beginning as Krushnamurti Dasji Swamiji tied the first rakhi to the sacred murti of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, symbolizing devotion, surrender, and the eternal protection of the Lord. This ceremonial gesture set the tone for the rest of the program, reminding everyone present of the true essence of Raksha Bandhan — not just the bond between brothers and sisters, but also the spiritual bond between devotees and God.
