Ramnavami | Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

At Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Vijayawada, we celebrated the holy occasion of Ram Navami, the birth anniversary of Lord Ram, with great devotion and joy. The entire school atmosphere was filled with spiritual energy and divine vibrations as all the students and staff came together to honor the birth of Maryada Purushottam Bhagwan Shree Ram.

The celebration began with the soulful singing of various Ram bhajans and kirtans. Students enthusiastically participated in singing the glories of Lord Ram, filling the surroundings with devotion and bhakti. The rhythmic clapping and harmonious voices created a divine environment in the temple hall, where Lord Ram’s idol was beautifully decorated.

Exactly at 12:00 PM, the auspicious moment of Lord Ram’s birth, Pujya Swamiji performed Aarti to Bhagwan Ram with great reverence. All the students and staff joined in with folded hands, singing the aarti with devotion. The atmosphere became spiritually charged as the bell sounds and chants echoed throughout the hall.

After the aarti, we were blessed to witness the Chathira Darshan of Lord Ram. The idol was adorned with grand ornaments and traditional attire, reflecting the royal and divine image of Bhagwan Ram. Everyone bowed their heads with faith and respect, feeling the divine presence of the Lord among us.

The entire celebration was grand and filled with spiritual significance. It reminded us of the values and principles that Lord Ram stood for – truth, righteousness, compassion, and duty. This celebration not only brought us closer to our cultural roots but also strengthened our devotion and discipline.

Through this Ram Navami celebration, we truly experienced the essence of dharma and the joy of being part of Gurukul’s spiritual environment. It was a day to remember and cherish.
