The SGEF Installation Ceremony was held with great zeal and enthusiasm on 18th July 2025 at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Vijayawada. The event marked an important occasion in the school’s academic calendar, focusing on empowering students and teachers to promote English communication and leadership through the Shree Swaminarayan English Fraternity (SGEF).
A central highlight of the ceremony was the badge pinning of English Speaking Monitors from Classes 1 to 10. These monitors were appointed to encourage the active use of English among their peers during school hours and to lead by example. This initiative is designed to strengthen the English-speaking culture across all grades, nurturing confidence and communication skills from an early age.
In addition to the student leaders, all teaching staff were also acknowledged and assigned key responsibilities within the fraternity. Teachers were honoured with badges designating them as Coordinators, Presidents, and Vice Presidents of the SGEF. These roles signify their commitment to guiding students and ensuring the smooth execution of the fraternity’s goals and activities throughout the academic year.
The event served as a motivational platform to inspire both students and staff to work collaboratively toward cultivating a vibrant and disciplined English-speaking environment. It emphasized the importance of leadership, responsibility, and collective effort in achieving personal growth and academic excellence.
Overall, the SGEF Installation Ceremony was a successful and memorable occasion, celebrating the spirit of teamwork, communication, and dedication. It set a strong foundation for the initiatives to follow and reflected the school’s unwavering commitment to holistic education.
