World Blood Donor’s Day

On June 14, 2024, the World Blood Donor Day event at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Belagola, Near Mysore, was graced by the presence of Dr. Narayan Hegde, a renowned plastic surgeon from Mysore, and Suchendra Prasad, a well-known actor and well-wisher of the school. The event was a remarkable success, with over 50 units of blood collected, showcasing the community’s commitment to saving lives. The participation and support of Mr. Muralidhar Arya, RSS Secretary of Srirangapatna, were instrumental in the success of this noble cause.
The event was meticulously organized by Mandya Medical College and District Hospital, with full support from the school community. Teachers, helpers, drivers, and beloved parents actively participated, ensuring the event ran smoothly and efficiently. Their collective efforts and dedication significantly contributed to the overall success, highlighting the spirit of community and altruism within the school and its surrounding areas.
