On 4th September 2024, the students of Grades 1 and 2 at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School participated in a divine Garland Crafting Activity for Lord Ganesha. This hands-on activity was organized as part of the preparations for Ganesha Chaturthi, allowing students to engage in meaningful cultural practice while expressing their creativity.

With vibrant flowers and natural materials, the students carefully crafted beautiful garlands to offer to Lord Ganesha. The event emphasized devotion, creativity, and teamwork as the young participants joyfully worked together, understanding the significance of offering garlands in Hindu traditions.

The Garland Crafting Activity not only deepened the students’ connection to the festival but also allowed them to experience the joy of contributing to a sacred celebration. The enthusiasm and devotion displayed by the children added to the spiritual atmosphere on campus, making the event truly special.
