Eco-Friendly Ganesha Idol Making

On the occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi 5th Sept 2024, a special Ganesh Idol Making Activity was conducted at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School on 5th September 2024. The activity encouraged students of grades 3, 4 & 5 to tap into their creativity while also fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and cultural reverence.

Students from various grades participated with great enthusiasm, crafting beautiful Ganesh idols using eco-friendly clay. With guidance from teachers, students carefully molded the idols, paying attention to intricate details while adhering to sustainable practices. The activity allowed the students to express their devotion and connect with the traditions surrounding the Ganesha festival.

This initiative not only enhanced the students’ artistic skills but also raised awareness about the importance of celebrating festivals in an eco-conscious manner. The event was met with joy and excitement as students proudly displayed their handmade idols.
