Kite Carnival – Chasing Dreams in the Sky

On 18th January 2025, Grades 1 to 5 students at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Belagola, Near Mysore, celebrated the much-awaited Kite Carnival: Chasing Dreams in the Sky with great enthusiasm and excitement. The school campus was filled with vibrant colors as students prepared and flew their beautifully designed kites. Some kites were creatively handmade by the young participants, while others were purchased to add variety to the celebration.
The event aimed to introduce students to the joy of kite flying while fostering creativity, teamwork, and outdoor fun. The little Gurukulites enthusiastically decorated their kites with bright colors, patterns, and unique designs. The sky soon became a mesmerizing sight, with kites soaring high, reflecting the festive spirit.
Adding to the excitement, teachers also actively participated and encouraged students by flying kites alongside them. Their involvement motivated the young learners, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. The students cheered for each other as they watched their kites dance gracefully against the wind.
Overall, the event was a grand success, leaving behind beautiful memories and reinforcing the importance of outdoor activities in a child’s holistic development.
