Divine Maha Shivaratri Abhishekam

Today, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Hyderabad, witnessed a divine and mesmerizing celebration of Maha Shivaratri at the sacred Kamal Dham Temple. The entire Gurukul resonated with spiritual energy as Swamijis and students came together to perform a sacred Abhishekam to the holy Shiva Lingam.

The ritual was conducted with great devotion, as milk, honey, curd, ghee, and holy water were offered to Lord Shiva while chanting powerful Vedic mantras. The temple was filled with the soul-stirring echoes of ‘Om Namah Shivaya’, creating an atmosphere of deep serenity and devotion.

Students actively participated in bhajans, dhun, and stotra recitations, understanding the divine significance of Maha Shivaratri – the night of divine transformation. Swamijis delivered enlightening discourses, inspiring everyone with the values of detachment, devotion, and surrender to Bhagwan Shiva.

The Shiva Lingam was beautifully adorned with flowers and bilva leaves, radiating divine grace. A grand Aarti was performed, filling every heart with spiritual joy and devotion.

This sacred event deepened the faith of the Gurukul students and left them with a renewed sense of devotion and purpose.
