Today at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, a grand and divine celebration took place on the occasion of the sacred Jagannath Rath Yatra, along with the pious remembrance of Shastriji Maharaj – Pujya Shri Dharmjivandasji Swami, the founder of Gurukul.

A beautifully decorated rath (chariot) carrying the idols of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra Devi was reverently pulled by both teachers and students across the campus. With hearts full of devotion, everyone joined in the procession, chanting “Jai Jagannath!”, “Jai Balabhadra!”, “Jai Subhadra Devi!” and expressing deep joy and unity.

The celebration was filled with energy as students danced, showered flowers, and actively participated in the spiritual journey. The presence of teachers pulling the rath alongside students made the atmosphere even more inspiring and devotional.

This beautiful day also served as a heartfelt tribute to Shastriji Maharaj, whose vision, values, and blessings continue to guide every corner of Gurukul. His teachings of discipline, devotion, and dedication were reflected in the conduct and spirit of all participants.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of prasadam, filling everyone with bliss and gratitude.
