On the sacred occasion of Janmashtami, the hostel of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Navi Mumbai was filled with devotion, joy, and divine celebration. Students decorated their rooms beautifully with flowers, lights, creative themes, and specially prepared zhula (swings) for Bal Krishna, welcoming Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan and Shree Krishna Bhagwan. The vibrant decorations reflected their deep love and faith, turning each room into a small temple of devotion.
In the evening, Swamiji graced the hostel with his holy padharamani, visiting each room personally. With warmth and blessings, he performed pujan of Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan and Shree Krishna Bhagwan, sanctifying the efforts and devotion of the students. The atmosphere was charged with spirituality as bhajans, prayers, and the fragrance of devotion spread across the hostel.
This memorable celebration not only honored the divine birth of Bhagwan Shri Krishna but also strengthened the values of seva, bhakti, and sanskaar among Gurukulites. Truly, it was an evening where festivity met faith and devotion bloomed in every heart.
