Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Belagola, celebrated Deepavali with great enthusiasm and devotion on 17 October 2025. The event focused on spreading happiness while promoting an eco-friendly approach to the festival.

Students from Grade 1 to 9 actively participated and showcased their creativity by bringing electric diyas and decorative lights instead of firecrackers. They beautifully arranged the lights in the forms of a traditional Diya, Om, and Swastik, symbolizing purity, auspiciousness, and the victory of light over darkness. The vibrant display created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere throughout the campus.

Teachers guided the students in understanding the significance of Deepavali as a festival that encourages the removal of negativity and the welcoming of knowledge, love, and unity. Students also wished each other and the entire school community a Happy Deepavali, filling the environment with festive joy and togetherness.

The respected Principal, along with all staff members, conveyed heartfelt Deepavali greetings to the students. They emphasized celebrating the festival responsibly by reducing pollution and adopting sustainable practices. They also appreciated the students for their active involvement and creative contributions.

The celebration concluded with prayers and collective appreciation for the rich cultural values associated with Deepavali. The event not only strengthened festive spirit but also encouraged the message of protecting nature while honoring Indian traditions.
